We had dinner there and chose the pork chop, mash, greens with cider gravy, ten out of ten for quality and quantity. Friendly staff offering great service. Desserts were only average but in saying that, we would certainly eat there again.

Just nice... Great food, great atmosphere, excellent service... the room had that cosy feel we all want ( and I don't mean it was tiny). Love the resident's lounge. Virtually across the road from the seafood shack as well.

We had an exceptional dinner here, ordered the smash burger, a rib-eye steak and a Mac & Cheese side. The steak was seared deliciously and cooked as ordered (medium-rare). The burger was a double smashed patty with some deliciously crispy bacon on top. The M&C had a lovely cheese top and didn’t go too gloopy like so many do as they cool down. A variety of beers on tap and in bottles/cans and a very well stocked spirit shelves. Would happily return in the future.

A charming meandering hotel with a lovely community room with a self service bar. They accommodated our family of 3 by providing an extra bed for our room. Great views of Loch Broom. Breakfast service was among the best breakfasts we had in Scotland.

Café, restaurant, bar, music venue, hotel & bookshop all in one. I've enjoyed many a meal or coffee here and have also seen local band & speaker in the venue. The newish addition of the bookshop is great, with lots of interesting and thought-provoking reads. Service is always good, although staff are sometimes stretched during busy times. Most recently, we had a special occasion 3 course meal which was delicious with two fantastic vegan options for the main course. The ceilidh place salads are something else and well worth a try even if you aren't a salad type of person... Yum!

Stayed two nights in May. Out of all of the similar-type places we stayed in Scotland (7 in all), this was by far the best. Full restaurant & bar on ground floor. Early a.m. coffee in the library. Nice patio to kick back. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely stay here again.
